Terms of use
These terms describe how you may use the AIActLiteracy.eu website and set out the basic rules of the AI Act Literacy programme. This website is informational. The course itself, user accounts and certificates run on the responsiblo.com platform and are governed by the terms published there.
Who operates this website
AIActLiteracy.eu is operated by responsiblo s.r.o., company registration number (IČO) 19428588, VAT number CZ19428588, registered office at Varšavská 715/36, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file number C 386401. You can write to us at info@responsiblo.com. AI Act Literacy is an independent educational product of responsiblo s.r.o. It is not a programme of the European Union, nor is it endorsed by the European Union.
Scope of the service and the free course
This website presents the AI Act Literacy programme, the price list and a link to the form on responsiblo.com where you can request the checklist. The course itself, user accounts and certificates run on the responsiblo.com platform; by enrolling on the course you enter into a relationship with responsiblo s.r.o. under the terms published at https://responsiblo.com/en/legal#podminky. The course is free for individuals and is intended for personal use; an account may be opened by a person aged 18 or over. The language the course runs in is stated with the programme when you enrol at responsiblo.com. We make reasonable efforts to keep the content current and the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Company account and paid plans
A company account is a paid service for organisations. The prices in the price list on this website are annual and exclude VAT. Ordering works by enquiry: you contact us from this website or at info@responsiblo.com, and we confirm the scope, the price and the term by email or in a separate contract. No payment and no registration take place on this website. What a company account includes is determined by the plan you choose from the price list and by what we agree. A company account is intended for businesses and organisations. If an individual were to buy a paid service as a consumer, their rights are governed by the Czech Civil Code, including the right to withdraw from the contract and the rules on digital content supplied online, and by the terms published at https://responsiblo.com/en/legal#podminky.
Certificate and badge
Once the conditions of the programme are met, we issue a personal certificate in the name held in the user account; the account holder is responsible for that name being correct. The certificate confirms completion of the course and fulfilment of the conditions set by responsiblo. It is not a certification under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744), nor a public authorisation or state accreditation. The period of validity is set by the programme and is stated on the certificate itself. Anyone can verify a personal certificate by its number on the verification page at responsiblo.com; public verification covers certificates issued to individual people. We may invalidate a certificate that was obtained on the basis of false information or in breach of the rules. A personal certificate from the free programme belongs to the individual, not to their employer, and is not a company training record; such a record is created only in a company account. The AI Literacy Program badge is a mark of responsiblo: a company may use it for the period and to the extent we agree, and we may end that use. We do not operate a public register of badges.
Copyright in the course content
The course content, texts, videos, practice scenarios, the checklist, the graphics and the design of this website are protected by copyright and belong to responsiblo s.r.o. or to its suppliers. We grant the participant a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the content made available to them for their own use and to the extent necessary to complete the course. Without our written consent the content may not be copied, distributed, made available to other people, modified, sold or used for training outside the responsiblo platform. The responsiblo logo, the AI Act Literacy name and the badge may not be used without our consent.
Limitation of liability
The course content is not legal advice. The course explains the rules and shows them in practical scenarios, but it does not replace an assessment of your own company's situation. Completing the course does not in itself mean that an organisation has met its obligations under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744); measures under Article 4(1) are chosen by each organisation according to its own context, and the regulation prescribes no certificate and no examination for them. We state legal rules as we understand them on the effective date of these terms. We are not liable for decisions you take in practice on the basis of the course, nor for damage caused by the website being unavailable or by the content of websites we link to.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, typically when the scope of the service or the law changes. We publish the new wording on this page together with its effective date. The wording in force at the time you use the website or the service is the one that applies.
